About Sheila Lee Brown

Writer. Artist. Musician. Maker. Professional Curious Human.

Welcome to the creative multiverse of Sheila Lee Brown—where imagination meets insight, and middle-graders, teens, and playful adults alike are invited to adventure.

I’m Sheila, and I write books that blend wonder and wisdom, often with a touch of the supernatural or a dash of sci-fi. From emotionally resonant middle-grade tales to genre-bending teen fiction and grown-up stories with heart and playfulness, I’m here to tell the stories that insist on being told—and to share the journey along the way.

A Life Made of Stories, Soap, and Subplots

My path hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve been a teacher, a tinkerer, a park ranger, and a wildly enthusiastic journal keeper. I’ve built businesses like TZ Books and Tickle Zombie, published books I’m proud of, and learned that life is at its best when it’s a full-sensory, hands-on creation.

Whether I’m writing about goddesses navigating modern life (Goddess Game), time-twisting sci-fi (The Resurrection Incident series), or crafting soap, digital art, or children’s books—I do it all with a sense of purpose and play.

Why I Create

My mission?
To live a creative, conscious, joyful life—and to create stories, resources, and art that help others tap into their own spark. I believe stories can heal, grow us, and remind us that we’re not alone. Especially the weird stories.

What You’ll Find Here
