This Privacy Policy explains how Sheila Lee Brown (doing business as TZ Books, Tickle Zombie, and across SheilaLeeBrown.com, TZ-Books.com, and TickleZombie.com) collects, uses, and protects your information.

Spoiler alert: I respect your privacy like I respect a raw cacao truffle—fiercely and reverently.

  1. What I Collect (and Why)

I only collect necessary information. Depending on how you interact with the Sites, that may include:

  • Device and browser data – for basic analytics, so I know what pages people visit (no personal stalking involved).
  • Your faves – if you reply to emails or leave comments, I might remember your love for extraterrestrials or time-traveling teens.
  1. How I Use Your Info

Here’s what I do with your information (all aboveboard, Park Ranger’s honor):

  • Respond to messages and customer‑service requests

  • Improve the Sites and make them more useful

  • Prevent fraud and keep things secure

  1. Purchases Through External Retailers

I no longer sell books directly on my Sites. When you click a retailer link (e.g., Amazon, Barnes & Noble), you’ll complete your purchase on that retailer’s website, and any personal data you provide is handled by the retailer according to their privacy policy.

4. Third‑Party Tools Running this creative empire requires a few trusty sidekicks. They may collect or process your data as needed:

  • Spreadshirt – prints and ships merch ordered through the embedded shop

  • Google Analytics – provides anonymous site stat

Each has its own privacy policy, and I share only what’s needed for them to do their jobs. If you buy a book from an external retailer, your data stays with them.

5. Cookies (Not the Chocolate Chip Kind)

The Sites may use cookies (small text files) to keep things running smoothly. These help remember your cart or track which pages are visited the most.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer a no-cookie diet.

The Sites are intended for adults and creative humans aged 13+. I don’t knowingly collect personal info from children. If I learn I have, I’ll delete it faster than a cringy plot twist.

I may update this Privacy Policy as needed. I’ll post the changes here with a new “Effective Date.” Major updates will get a shoutout in the newsletter.
